From Seed to Fruit
4 Seasonal Nature Journaling Projects
Originally released as a part of Kiala Givehand's Journey Within: A Year of Handmade Art Journals, these 4 tutorials were available only to students in the course - until now!
I am excited to offer you the 4 tutorials I created as a core teacher in the course on their own!
In this courses 4 journal spread tutorials, we reflect on ourselves and our relationship with the natural world through creating nature art journal spreads. We explore the cycles of the seasons and the life cycles of plants literally through art, and figuratively through symbol in our art and lives.
We create projects that use quotes and poems, we make a spread with actual opening windows on our page, we look to nostalgia for inspiration, and have some fun with process play.
This course is for novice and experienced artists and journalers alike. It's designed to guide you on a journey of creative connection through cycles using themes of nature that can be expressed at various technique levels. A key to creative connection is simply making the time - and this course gives you an format and excuse to do just that!
This course is not for someone looking for specific technique instruction. This course provides a guide to complete 4 projects. If you are looking for painting and drawing technique instruction, check out my Draw Yourself Back to Nature and Draw Deeper Into Nature courses and Bundle, or my free course Watercolor Basics for Nature Journalers, then come back here for more projects when you finish those!
